Look at Fox Nation: What does Diddy do?
“The ju umpire is human and whether they recognize it or not, they often associate pregnancy with vulnerability, upbringing, and innocentness. It’s a difficult selling point to argue that she is a real physical threat or equally responsible for violence with that image alone,” Nieves said.
“Even if the defense introduces evidence of her alleged aggression, that version of the event may not be in line with what they see in front of them. It’s not just facts. It can easily flop with this ju umpire to a charming, visibly pregnant woman who is abusive and undermine the credibility of the defense.”

Cathy’s appearance as a pregnant woman “may not change legal standards, but it certainly shapes the way ju-describers perceive the story and makes it much more difficult to do with the job of defence,” Nieves said.
