Maine Rep. Laurel Libby They are seeking US Supreme Court intervention in her case to overturn her accusations of social media posts identifying minor trans athletes. Currently, Democrat defendants have filed their responses in the High Court.

Libby provided Fox News Digital with a statement addressing the response.
“I was elected to represent the people in my district and defend their rights. I spoke to defend the rights of women and girls. Women are discriminated against and silent under policies that allow biological men to compete in women’s sports. Don’t believe them,” she said.
When the Democratic majority in the Maine House of Representatives voted to denounce Libby on February 25th, she proposed restoring her rights to vote and speak if she apologises for the Post. However, Libby told them he wouldn’t apologize.
Libby previously told Fox News Digital that she called out to her the day after Fecteau created a social media post.
“He found it uncomfortable and asked to defeat it. At the same time, I asked him if he would support Maine girls and support a policy that would stop discrimination against young Maine women in sports, and he refused to answer,” Libby said.

Libby filed a lawsuit against Fecteau on March 11th to overturn the accusation.

Dubose ended with this case and ruled in favour of Fectoteau. The First Circuit subsequently ruled against Libby.
So now, Libby is seeking the US Supreme Court intervention.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Justice has announced that it has filed a lawsuit for its continued rebellion against Maine. Trump’s Executive orders to block biological men out of girls and women’s sports and violate Title IX. Libby attended the press conference along with Attorney General Pam Bondy and Department of Education Linda McMahon.
Two Maine school districts, Maine Regional Schools Unit 24 and MSAD 70, have put the issues into their own hands, amended local sports gender eligibility policies, ban trans athletes from women’s competitions, and are working with Libby and Trump.

Care to this issue has been extended over the past week after the trans athletes won multiple events in the women’s concrete meet.
