Chedur Sanders There’s a tough fight to become the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, but one of his former college teammates had great hopes for him.

“I was disappointed that they did him that way,” Wester said. Team website. “I know that Chedur will be in the lab. He works hard and plans to win the job in Cleveland.”
Sanders will need to move ahead of Kenny Pickett, Joe Flaco and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel.
Wester joined Colorado for the 2024 season after a standout 2023 with the Florida Atlantic, earning 1,100 yards in between. He caught 74 for 931 yards and 10 touchdowns in his only season with Sanders.

Like Sanders, Wester heard his name on the last day of 2025 NFL Draft. Baltimore chose him for his 203rd overall pick in the sixth round.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson appears to be choosing the weapon to throw.
The team took home Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers, Tylan Wallace and Devontez Walker. They added DeAndre Hopkins to free agency after splitting the season with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans.

Baltimore was 12-5 last season, while Cleveland was 3-14.
