The Los Angeles Lakers faced scrutiny last June when the franchise decided to hire inexperienced JJ Reddick as the franchise’s next head coach.
Redick led the Lakers to victory in a match against the Timberwolves in his coaching debut in October, but Los Angeles played Minnesota in the postseason.

“Reggie Miller said last night that JJ had been acting frankly in childish terms and that he had to try and calm him down at a pre-game meeting.” Windhorst said It was a Thursday that appeared on ESPN’s “Get Up.”
Reddick came out of a press conference ahead of Game 5 after questioning him about playing the Lakers’ starter later in Game 5.

Windhorst added that his comments were not personal criticism of Reddick.
“I don’t mean this in a personal way. JJ Redick coached this series very immortal,” added Windhorst. “Looking back, you’ll realize that JJ didn’t put the Lakers in the best position to win.”
