Richard Guerre and his wife Alejandra Silva are already planning to return to the US Moved to Madrid, Spain End of 2024.

“For several years [we’ll live in Spain]and then I’ll come back. But we’re always coming back,” Silva said.

“We’re back here in the summer because we have kids at camp. We have to balance our lives there and our lives here,” she continued.
Richard Gere and his family are thriving in Spain after leaving us
After living in New York for many years, the couple decided to move to Spain, where Alejandra was originally from, and raised their children there.
“For several years [we’ll live in Spain]and then I’ll come back. But we are always coming back. ”
“I’m with my family… I miss them so much, but I miss the US, so we go back and forth,” she told the outlet.
Gere first spoke about the impending move towards Spain last spring.

“For me, going to Madrid would be a great adventure, because I’ve never lived full-time outside of the US,” the 75-year-old said. Vanity Fair Spain.
“And I think it’s very interesting for my kids too. For Alejandra, it’s great to get closer to her family, her lifelong friends and her culture. She gave me six years of living in my world, so I think it’s fair to have her living at least six others. The extraordinary people and people exude sensitivity and generosity, and I look forward to going there.”

“New York goes into your blood. It’s very difficult to get rid of it. It infects your DNA. But I love Spain and I love Madrid. And it’s when my wife is around her family, friends and culture,” he said. “And good for our kids. I think it’s great to live in a different culture, not just visiting.”

“My kids are bilingual, so they’ll thrive there,” he said in The Tonight Show.

He said they would spend Thanksgiving in Spain, and later that month Silva shared a photo of their sons Alexander and James decorating their sons Alexander and James’ Christmas tree, captioning “This year is Christmas in Spain!”

“My wife, she grew up in a very large Spanish family,” Guerre told Fallon. “And her grandmother was like the glue that held all of that together. And her grandmother passed away. It was about a year and a half ago, two years ago. So my wife, I can see her transformed into the new grandmother of this large family.

In January, Gere said El Espanya The couple is “happier than ever” living abroad.

“We’re like soulmates,” Silva told El Espanya. “We have the same value. We saw the world in the same way, and from the first moment we felt that we had known each other for a long time.”
Gere couldn’t help it I praise his wifehe shares two sons and a third son from her previous marriage.
