A federal judge ordered the release of anti-Israeli protesters who helped organize riots and protests at Columbia University on Wednesday.
Authorities detained by Immigration Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) Mohsen Mahdawi, Green card holder earlier this month.
According to court filings, Mahdawi co-founded the Palestinian Student Union in Colombia in the fall of the Hamastero attack on October 7th. He founded a group Mahmoud Khalilanother pro-Palestinian activist who was detained by federal immigration officials under the Trump administration earlier this year.
