Jackson sparked controversy in 2023 over his comments that NBA players were protesting in the bubble as the league resumed during the coronavirus pandemic.
He said the NBA is “catering” certain viewers.
Jackson was asked about his comments on the latest episode of Stacey King’s “Gim the Hot Sauce” Critics said they couldn’t understand the humor behind them.
“I don’t think people got humor… The name is behind the players who were in the bubble because if you protect them and go to the challenge and hoops, and then you use those monikers in the name, so that’s an interesting aspect to it.” “That’s what I was bringing to the kids. Visually, this is something humorous.”
