Josh Duhamel chose to live in his “end of the Apocalypse” Minnesota, Hollywood.
“Ransom Canyon” star, he Wife, Audra Mariand their one-year-old son, Shepherd, lives 40 minutes from the civilization on Lakeside property in northwestern Minnesota. The actor’s 11-year-old son, Axl, spends time at home with his ex-wife Fergie.
Duhamel’s property he jokingly said Country life He is called his “Doomsday Cabin” and is located on a dirt road two miles to his home in the forest. “Every time I get here, I get nauseous,” he pointed out.

Duhamel purchased the land and built a rustic cabin for the past 15 years. He eventually added a second parcel with a third parcel that came with the hunting shed and the house.

“It’s a cute little red cabin with a stone chimney above the water. It’s basically a painting by Terry Redlin,” he said.
Building his fortunes over the years was an act of love for the actor.

“We basically housed our house for the first 12 years. For a long time, there were no plumbing. We used outhouses on the lake to wash dishes,” Duhamel told the outlet.

Over the past decade and a half, the amenities of Duhamel’s property have been upgraded, but he still takes advantage of that world mentality.

He said, “I feel very connected to it. I didn’t just buy the place, I shaped this place. We’ve made a lot of improvements, but you still feel like you’re trolling it, and I love it.”
Living remotely may also mean some of the wildlife running.

“I think we have Goose for Easter,” the actor wrote for his video.
“Rip Buddy… Happy Easterter,” Duhamel captioned his post, adding a prayer hand emoji.
Duhamel told the parade this month that his community is taking care of each other.
“Has part of the reason I built my place in Minnesota, deep in the forest removed from the “safe shelter” star?” I said to the parade.

He continued, “The closest store is 40 miles away. When you get there, it’s really that everyone is taking care of each other. You make memories and spend time with family and friends.”
Duhamel told the outlet that his son, Akle, would do another upbringing when he is with him in their cabin. Minnesota.
“My son is going to have memories of this place forever. He’s not on his iPad when he’s there. He’s on a boat with me, playing football on the beach, he’s there in the woods doing whatever I’m doing.
“And I have a little baby who is going to go through the same thing. I’d like to share this with them one day. [so] They can share it with their kids. It’s really important to me that they have this. It’s not just that we have all the facilities and all the luxury [have] It’s very used to it. It’s really about family. It’s about heritage,” he said.
It took Duhamel years to build an off-grid spot for his family, but he is grateful for the opportunity to “go back to basics.”

“You’re not consumed by all these other distractions,” he told the outlet. “When you’re there, it’s about having a real fun and making sure everyone is warm and everyone has food and water.”
Duhamel opened about his indifference in Hollywood 2023 Interview “Graham Bensinger and Depth.”
“I don’t think I’m really comfortable with it. It was a lot. I missed the simplicity of who I was,” he said. “I’m not comfortable just doing the red carpet and doing all Hollywood things. I don’t hate it. I’m better at it than I am now, but it took me a long time to feel like I belonged to it.”
