She appeared on Outkick’s “Gaines for Girls” The podcast with Riley Gaines spoke about the awards and published her opposition to trans-inclusion in women’s sports.
“There are a lot of women who are witnessing men in sports. They are trying to save the sport themselves, and it’s hard to come out because you essentially make your life as your life is at its core,” she said. “You can face social expulsion, you can take a financial blow, and you can disrupt your training.
“There’s no end to the backlash you might face, or you don’t feel threatened in your life as you know. So you know that something like that happened. So, receiving this is not fun. That’s not what I want to do.

American Fencing Talking to Fox News Digital The Turner is on probation for the next 12 months after receiving a black card for confiscation. She can still compete in events on probation, but she has chosen not to.
“I’m going to take a break from fencing for a while on the US circuit. That’s a bit confusing for me… It disrupts my training, it disrupts my interactions when I go out in public, and when I’m asked Fox News Digital when I was asked about her expectations when she took a life, I’d definitely disrupt my competition because I don’t compete in America.”
Instead, Turner will focus on her new mission in the movement to ban trans athletes from women’s sports.

“As long as it takes to solve this, I’ll be in the public eye,” she said.
