
Terrance Arceneaux was a key contributor off the bench Houston Cougars The past three seasons.
On Thursday, the sophomore security guards announced their intention to enter the transfer portal.
During the announcement, Arceneaux said the decision was centered around his hopes of “starting a new chapter on my college basketball journey.”

Arceneaux said in An Instagram posts The competition in Houston was “part of my story of always carrying me with.”
“I’m leaving with a bitter taste, just growth, gratitude, and a clear vision of where I’m heading next,” he added. “The path to purpose sometimes requires a pivot, and I trust the process.”

Arceneaux averaged 5.2 points per game for Houston. He played 17.5 minutes per game, reducing 2.9 rebounds per game over the past three years.

He averaged 6.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in his last 40 games as Houston ran to the National Championship Game. He didn’t score points in eight minutes on the floor during the national title game. Florida Gators.
So far, Arceneaux is the only Cougars player to enter the transfer portal since the championship.

Arceneaux appeared in just 11 games during the 2023-24 season due to an Achilles tendon injury.
Aside from Arceneau’s departure, Houston is working to lose LJ Kryer, J’wan Roberts, Ja’vier Francis and Mylik Wilson, who have exhausted their college eligibility.
