The Food and Drug Administration said the 70 affected cases were shipped to retailers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Alabama.

The recall includes 20 six-pack 27.6-ounce cartons of Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches. The UPC code is 44000075842, the best before dates are January 26th 8th and January 26th 15th, and only include cartons with the AE factory code on the top of the box.

Ritz’s parent company, Mondelēz Global LLC, said it had not received any reports of injuries or illnesses and initiated the recall after learning cases with the label were mistakenly sent to retailers in eight states.
