Beachgoers in Ibiza made the terrifying discovery of a human foot washed up on the shore on Friday morning. The busiest beach on the island, Playa d’en Bossa.
Local outlet Diario de Ibiza The body appeared among storm debris and was reported to have been found by an unidentified man walking along the shore. Witnesses immediately alerted the authorities, and several Spanish National Police patrols arrived at the scene by around 8 a.m. local time.
Published images – Artist: The Sun Police and investigators wearing high-visibility vests can be seen scanning the area as onlookers gather nearby. Authorities closed part of the beach to collect evidence and prevent contamination of the site.
According to Diario de Ibiza, the person who discovered it had secured its feet with sticks to prevent them from being pushed back into the water.

Some of the witnesses were staying at the nearby four-star seaside Hotel Vibra Algarve, while others were passing by on their way to local gyms and outlets. Metro UK The Sun reported.

Officials told Metro UK: “We have not ruled out any hypothesis and are continuing to work to establish the facts.” No further details have been released.

The discovery came just three days after another incident on Tuesday, October 7, when a decomposing corpse was found floating about two miles off the coast near Talamanca Bay. According to the newspaper Periodico de Ibiza y Formentera. Maritime authorities recovered the body and brought it to the port of Ibiza.
