Rainn Wilson seeks unity following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

“A lot of people have said, ‘Hey, we need to lower the temperature.’ And certainly that’s true in the short term. But we need to go deeper than that. We need to build a bridge of love and unity among those we disagree with.

Wilson’s representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Wilson is not the only celebrity he has spoken to since Kirk’s death.

Kirk, who was killed Wednesday in a speech in Orem, Utah, was a well-known conservative activist. Despite the often intense political situation in Hollywood, one thing many can agree on is that there is no justification for this type of violence.
Arnold Schwarzeneggera former Republican governor of California, has been critical of the party in recent years, taking him to social media after the shooting and urged people to join after the tragedy.

“My heart is with Charlie Kirk’s family and America.” I wrote it on x. “Politics is a disease in this country and is fatal. But don’t listen to the pessimists who say there is no cure. There is cure. It is within us. We need to find a better angel and return from the extremes.
