Archaeologists recently excavated the ruins of the large Roman Council hall in Türkiye. Early Christian worship.
The discoveries found in the ancient city of Laodicare were reported in August by the Turkish news agency Anadoru Agency.
Located in the modern state of Denisli, Turkey, Laodicare has been mentioned many times throughout the Bible, including the Revelation.
In Revelation 1:11 (KJV), Jesus Christ says to John: It’s in Asia;To Ephesus, then Smyrna, then Pergamo, then Tiatira, then Sardis, then Philadelphia, and to Laodicare. ”
Laodicea also appears in the Colossians. The apostle Paul recognizes it as an early Christian community.

Photos on the site show a cross engraved on stone and what appears to be an early Christian chiro monogram. The first two letters of “Christ” At Koine Greek. Etching also involves Greek texts.

The image also shows the remains of the ancient Roman Council building, including headless statues and theatre ruins of Roman Emperor Trajan.

Archaeologists don’t know the age of Christian etching, but believe the building dates back about 2,050 years.

In the past, excavators have found statues of the priest’s heads on the site, according to a Turkish news agency. Homer’s “Odyssey.”

Archaeologists have told the press that the ancient buildings serve as the main political and judicial centres of Laodicare, and their form may be the first of its kind in Anatolia, with pentagonal exterior walls and hexagonal plans.

According to the same source, the structure had as many as 800 members in the second half of the first century BC, with various citizens, elders and young people engraved in their seats.
