Leonardo DiCaprio He may have one of Hollywood’s most famous careers, but even the Oscar winner has admitted that he regrets.
During a conversation Esqueia Along with acclaimed filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, DiCaprio revealed about the missed role that still bothers him. The 1997 “Boogie Night” lead eventually went to Mark Wahlberg.
In an interview, Anderson, who directed the film, asked DiCaprio about his regrets about his career, saying, “Even if you’re here, say it: My biggest regret is not having “a boogie night.” It was a deep movie from my generation [Wahlberg] Among them. When I finally managed to see the film, I just thought it was a masterpiece. ”

As he admitted the irony of sharing his greatest regret with the director behind the film, Dicaprio added“It’s ironic that you’re the one asking the question, but that’s true.”
“Boogie Night” began Wahlberg’s acting career and further cemented Anderson’s position in the industry, earning critical acclaim and multiple Academy Award nominations.

Wahlberg previously recalled the legacy of films and wrote in 2017, “God is a movie fan, tolerancebecause I have made some poor choices in the past. “Boogie Night” is at the top of the list. ”

He later made the comment clear to people, saying, “I was sitting in front of thousands of kids talking and trying to encourage them to come back to their faith. And I hope he has a sense of humor because he may have made some decisions that may not be okay with him.”

The four married fathers were further asked at the time whether he would play a similar role if offered. Unfortunately, for fans of “Boogie Night,” he said he probably wouldn’t have a wife, Rhea Durhamor their children are very happy.
Boogie Night, located in the heart of California’s San Fernando Valley in 1977, follows Edia Dams, the character of Wahlberg, a teenage busboy whose life changed dramatically when it was discovered by Jack Horner, a porn director played by Burt Reynolds.
Under Horner’s wings, Eddie is reborn as adult film star Dark Digler. This character is spurring the price of the industry’s dark belly and fame.
DiCaprio is preparing for the release of his film “From a Battle One after the One,” and is scheduled to be released in September this year.
