Dolly Parton We have advice from Kelly Clarkson and Reba Mcentire, lamenting the loss of Brandon Blackstock.
The country’s superstar counting Clarkson and McEntire as friends was asked during an interview Entertainment of the night About what she says to them about Blackstock’s death – Clarkson was his ex-wife, mother of his two youngest children, and Manteia was his former stepmother.
“I think you have to be grateful for the years you spent with someone. “Take their energy they gave you, you recycle it and make it a part of you. Respect their memories and know that they are in a better place than we have these days.”

McEntire He took her to Instagram on Tuesday to pay tribute to his former son-in-law, who passed away on August 7th. She posted a carousel of photos of her and Blackstock spending time fishing, hugging and posing with chicken.
“Last week, my son-in-law/oldest son Brandon Blackstock returned home with God, his struggle is over and we are in eternal peace before him. There is no one else like him. I am grateful for the time we were together. His legacy and laughter will be carried through his family.
McEntire became Blackstock’s stepmother from 1989 to 2015 while marrying her father, Narvel Blackstock. Meanwhile, she was also the stepmother to two other children, Chassidy and Shawna.

“It seems Brandon has been my son forever. He is my son in law, but I love him as much as he is my total – my blood,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2021.
She previously said in 2010 that she “doesn’t consider stepchildren of Brandon, Shashidi and Shauna.”
“No one like him. I’m grateful that we were together. His legacy and laughter will be passed down through his family. Rest in a peaceful cowboy.

Blackstock died at the age of 48 after a three-year private battle with cancer. His cause of death was melanoma, a type of skin cancer.

Blackstock leaves four children, including parents, siblings and four children. Savannah, Seth, River Rose, Remington.
