The new Massachusetts bill aims to require US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) agents and other federal immigration enforcement officers to remove masks.
The legislative proposal was introduced Wednesday by Democrat James Hawkins.
You need a new section in Massachusetts Criminal Law “Law enforcement officers must not wear masks or personal disguises while interacting with the public in their duties.
“A violation of this section shall be punished as a misdemeanor,” said the bill co-hosted by another 10 Democrat representatives.

It states that the intent of the Congress is to enact the law, “requiring law enforcement officials to include a name or badge number in their uniforms,” and that “special weapons and tactics (SWAT) team officers can make use of the gear they need to protect their faces while fulfilling their swat responsibilities.”
Ice acting director Todd Lions At a press conference in May, his agent defending mask wearing was announced, resulting in nearly 1,500 arrests in Massachusetts.
“If people are offended by the fact that they wear masks, I’m sorry, but I’m not going to go out there and put the lives of their families on the line. “Is it the problem here that we’re getting mad, the masks? Or is someone pissed off by the fact that the ice officers’ families are labeled as terrorists?”
During a surgery in Los Angeles a few weeks ago, the Lions said the Ice Agent was “docked” and personal information was published – people took photos of the agent’s name and face and posted online “with death threats on their family and themselves.”
Most of those arrested in Massachusetts operations have “critical crimes in the US or overseas,” and agents have “targeted the most dangerous foreign criminals in Massachusetts’ most crime-hit areas,” officials said.

“If sanctuary cities change their policies and hand over these violent criminals to us, then we take our custody, instead of releasing them to the public, we don’t have to go out into the community and do this,” Lions added. “Boston is my hometown and it’s really shocking that employees across Massachusetts will rather bring sex offenders, fentanyl dealers, drug dealers, human traffickers and child rapists back to their neighborhoods.”
Trump sees dems floating bills that require ice masking, CBP agents need to “hate” America
Hawkins cited the March arrest of a graduate student at Tufts University Rumeysa Ozturk A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agent outside her home in Summerville, Massachusetts accused the 30-year-old Turkish citizen of supporting Hamas, and the DHS later confirmed that her student visa had been revoked. She was then taken to ice detention centers in New Hampshire, Vermont and Louisiana until a judge approved her release and returned to Massachusetts in May.
The bill is the latest in a series of legislative proposals brought by Democrats seeking to reveal ice agents.
US Senators Cory Booker, DN.J., and Alex Padilla, D-Calif. introduced “visible identification standards for immigration-based law enforcement,” or visible law this week. They argue that the bill would “enhance surveillance, transparency and accountability for the Trump administration’s indiscriminate and surprising immigration enforcement tactics that terrorized communities across California and the country.”

President responds to Senate bill Donald Trump It pointed out how protesters could protest ice and other Trump administration policies.
“It’s kind of funny when you pick up a picket in front of Columbia before Harvard University and wear a mask, when you have more masks than a mask. That means you can’t see anything. A patriot who works on ice and border patrols puts the mask so that he doesn’t recognize him and his family, meets African leaders after living a normal life.
“It’s a Democrat problem. They’re having a lot of bad things happening in their heads,” Trump added. “They lost confidence, number one. And they’re really – they’re a bit confused. I want to do whatever it takes to protect our great law enforcement people. And they’re at the top of the list.”
