Colorado Buffalo Head coach Dion Sanders wants to focus on his next season with his team, not on his health issues.
Unfortunately for him, Sanders missed out on parts of Buffalo’s spring and early summer due to unspecified health issues, so that was a big question heading towards Big 12 Media Day on Wednesday.
Sanders didn’t reveal What he was dealing with was that he said he was “already back.”

“I’m here today,” he said. All ESPN. “I handle my responsibility. So I look forward to it. I can’t wait. You have to understand, part of the youth [players] I haven’t seen him yet. I’m very excited about it. ”
Sanders has dealt with blood clots in his legs in the past. He also had two toes amputated on his left leg in 2021, which is well documented while coaching at Jackson State. He had to miss three games while in hospital at the time.

But Sanders, along with the former Dallas Cowboys Teammates like Michael Irvin were ready to answer all of Colorado on Wednesday.
“I’m not here to talk about my health. I’m here to talk about my team,” he said.
“I’m cool. I live a lovely life. God has truly blessed me. It’s not care for the world, it’s not the desires and desires of the world.”

Sanders agreed to a five-year extension worth $54 million to maintain Buffalo’s head coach.
With his son Chedure Sanders preparing for his rookie season with the Cleveland Browns, Coach Prime will focus on choosing the right guy to succeed the center.
Kaidon Salter, a transfer from Liberty, will face Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis for the starting role at quarterback. They both attended Big 12 Media Day and although Salter said he had “less contact” with Sanders, health is just as much a priority for coaches as players.
