The robbery elements coincided with other robberies that have been recently carried out in various parts of the United States by South American theft groups, the complaint said. The document added that the group is usually made up of South Americans who enter the country illegally or remain in the US after their visa expires. The group is targeting jewelry and designer accessories according to the complaints.
