David Charbett left Hollywood nearly 20 years ago and is not interested in returning.
The actors who appeared in “Baywatch” and “Melrose Place” have been transformed into construction. In 2008, he and his business partners launched the Jones Builders Group, which builds luxury homes, primarily in the Los Angeles area. People Magazine It has been reported.
“It was one way of leaving Hollywood and still being creative,” the original ’90s heartbeat told the outlet recently. “It was also one way to ensure I went home every morning and every night so I could raise two children.”

“…I won’t overlook fame,” the 53-year-old regretted. “We worked a lot, so we don’t miss the workload we had. It’s very difficult to raise a family like that. I praise all the actors who have a family that balances it.”
The outlet said when Charvet and his then wife, Brooke Burke, began giving birth to children, he realized that the acting had to take the back seat. He wanted to be the current father of their children, the heavenly rain now 18, Shaya Braven, 17.
The French-born actor pointed out more and more films and TV shows at the time It was filmed outside Los Angeleswhich meant he was away from his family for a long time.
“The goal was to be practical when my children were born,” explained Charbett. “I promised Brooke that I would be that guy.”

After seven years of marriage, Charvet and Burke announced in 2018 that they were bidding farewell. Their divorce was finalized in 2020.
Over the years, Charvet has been immersed in his new profession. According to the outlet, he and the Jones builder are partnering with Fitness Studio Burn LA and owner Maria Chase. His fortune can also be seen throughout the Los Angeles area.
Burn La has three locations, a quarter of the location. The outlet points out there are plans to expand in Miami and New York City.
“I’m learning more than I ever learned. This new little baby of us is thriving in such an incredible way, you have to protect it every day, and you have to raise it every day,” said Charbett. “So, how do you expand without compromising on hospitality and all the important features it has? That’s the next step.”

Charvet insisted that he had no regrets about leaving while missing parts of Hollywood.
“I miss the friendship I was with the people on Set,” he said. “I had old-fashioned producers and old-fashioned people who worked as a unit, and it was a real family… [But] I won’t change anything.
“I have to say that what I have experienced with my kids and the past 17 years definitely made me a better man, have real relationships, treat people kindly, and have a more humble approach in life.”

Back in 2022, Charvet said Page 6 He left the spotlight so he could reform himself as “the father I wanted to be.”
“Before I had my first child, I was concerts for my music in 42 countries for five years,” he told the outlet at the time. “I have no way to do that again. I had to find another meaning in my life.”
“I didn’t want to go to a TV show that was in Canada. I didn’t want to travel to Europe to do my music,” he continued. “I wanted to be home and I wanted to be a good dad. I wanted to be there every day for my kids.”

Charbett appeared on “Baywatch” along with David Hasselhoff. Pamela Anderson Yasmine Bleeth was from 1992 to 1996.
Charvet admitted that he initially grieved the loss of his decades of career.
“I was saddened as I really loved what I did for 20 years,” he said.

But today, Charvet is proud of his two biggest roles. It’s the role of a father and a home builder.
“My job today is for me to serve,” he said. “I’m a service person. I’m not a star anymore.”
