Exclusive: Last week, California Governor Gavin Newsom’s press agency was Social Media Posts Loling the latest announcement by the U.S. Department of Education, the state violated Title IX by allowing women’s sports trans athletes.
Newsom’s Press Office X accounts laughed at US Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. WWE Skit. The clip belongs to current Knox County Mayor Glenn Thomas Jacobs, also known as “Kane,” who hit McMahon in a move known as the “Tombstone Pile Driver” in the early 2000s episode of “Live on a Monday Night.”
The post sparked a massive backlash from Californians and women’s rights activists across the country. Now, McMahon is responding to controversial social media posts.

“When I said that Gavin Newsom wasn’t taking this seriously at all, I was surprised that it was a clip he used,” McMahon told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview.
“He was trying to make it interesting about very serious issues and we have women who are trained to compete in these sports that lose their opportunities for scholarships and sponsorship.
McMahon pointed out that her office is also using Newsom clips, but one of the recent governors said on a podcast that he believes it is “very unfair” for trans athletes to compete in women and girls’ sports.
“This was so funny. I also say that the actual footage of Gavin Newsom is unfair on my podcast. So I wrote him a letter, basically, “Your mouth has your mouth.”
McMahon said when he appeared. “Fox & Friends” Last Wednesday, California would risk losing federal funds for K-12 schools if requirements are not met.
A press release from the U.S. Department of Education says there is a risk that California high school sports leagues, the CIF, and the California Department of Education (CDE) will either modify the 10-day (from last Wednesday) or introduce referrals to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Newsom’s Office responded to an education department announcement later last Wednesday.
“It’s not going to be a day when the Trump administration doesn’t threaten to refund California. Now, Secretary McMahon is a dramatic and fake, disrupting the WrestleMania era and government, who were completely divorced from reality. This doesn’t stick. ”
The Education Department and other departments of President Donald Trump’s administration are fighting the issue on multiple fronts in aggressive lawsuits against Maine for refusing to comply with Trump’s duties on the issue. The administration is also in position with Minnesota over the issue.
McMahon, the DOE and the Trump administration as a whole took a major step in their campaign to compete with women and women’s sports trans-athletes on Tuesday, announcing an agreement with the University of Pennsylvania.
The agreement ensures that all female swimmers affected by the inclusion of trans swimmer Leah Thomas in the 2021-22 season will apologise to all female swimmers affected, with all praise for Thomas’ program being revoked, and the school will adopt a biological definition of the terms “male” and “female.”

McMahon hopes that the Upenn agreement will send a message to states that oppose Trump.
“Our sincere hope is that they absolutely recognize what they have to do to comply with Title IX. That’s the law,” McMahon said. “There are penalties withheld and withdrawn federal funds, and this comes with penalties. But that’s actually true. It’s common sense that men should not compete in women’s sports.”
