This confirmation will allow NHL players to participate in the Olympics for the first time since 2014.

Next year’s hockey tournament will have 12 participating countries: Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, France, Cechia, Canada, the United States, Latvia, Germany and Denmark.
