First on FOX: State Department Under the idiosyncratic American flag, we launch a new “America First” rebranding initiative to integrate all the logos in our office. Large agency overhaul plans.
According to State Department officials, although previously existed in embassies, bureaus and offices under the US International Development Agency, rebranding efforts are seeking to establish “consistent branding” on all these platforms.
“The redesign was very simple, and it was to recently re-uncher the visual identity of American efforts overseas in the American flag,” Darren Beatty, the secretary of public diplomacy at the State Department, told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

Beattie said inconsistent branding across the State Department office and programs means that the efforts of the US overseas are not widely recognized, meaning that other countries with brand uniformity will receive greater credit.
“There are some things you see that, and you have no clue that has anything to do with the US government, and that is clearly against our purpose,” Beatty said. “If we are contributing something big overseas, we want that positivity and its contribution to be visually distinguished immediately as something related to the US.”
The State Department has rolled out guidance on Wednesday’s rebranding efforts – the day after Secretary of State Marco Rubio USAID has officially announced that it will no longer continue to provide foreign aid.

Fox News Digital reported in March that the State Department would absorb remaining functions from previously independent organisations, providing assistance to poor countries and development support.
According to Beattie, compliance with rebranding efforts across the State Department office and department is scheduled for October 1st.
The effort is trying to visually complement the State Department’s reorganization, but authorities said it is the largest restructuring of the agency since the Cold War.
In April, Rubio announced plans to revamp the government institution because it was “bloated, bureaucratic, and unable to carry out its essential diplomatic envoy.”
Additionally, Rubio spoke to lawmakers about the Senate Budget subcommittee overseeing diplomacy in May, saying the restructuring was intended to “strengthen” the local bureau and embassies responsible for spearheading the “best innovation.”

“They identify issues and opportunities well before some notes working towards me,” Rubio told lawmakers. “We want to get back to the situation, or we want to reach a situation that empowers ideas and actions at the embassy level and through local bureaus, which are literally the forefront of American diplomacy.

Fox News Digital reported in May that its agency reorganization plan would include reductions or consolidation of over 300 offices and offices to streamline its operations.
The reorganization will include xxing around 3,400 State Department officials, representing around 15% to 20% of the agency’s domestic directors, State Department officials previously told Fox News Digital.
