Shawn: Diddy, Combs Prosecutors indicated they had not pursued some charges against the rapper just days before they were scheduled to begin in sex trafficking and assault trials.
In a letter to a judge filed Tuesday, the government showed a letter to a judge obtained by Fox News Digital.
“The government understands the court’s desire for streamlined instructions. With that in mind, the government has proposed ways to streamline those instructions,” the letter read.
“Specifically, no instructions are needed as the government does not plan to advance these theories of responsibility as it (i) accusations of attempting to lure under both California and New York laws, (ii) an arson under California laws, and (iii) an attempt to promote and take responsibility for sex trafficking.”

With the prosecutor Combs’ defense After six weeks of testimony, each case was concluded on Tuesday. The defense did not call witnesses on the position and instead presented evidence that proved an inconsistent statement was made during the trial.
Combs’ defense team quickly moved to acquittal before taking a break from the lawsuit. Attorney Alexandra Shapiro argued that the government could not prove the count against the rapper.
“At best, there is thin evidence that one of the other employees has participated,” Shapiro said, “There is no evidence that he believes is sex trafficking.”

The ry judge has spent the past six weeks hearing testimony from Combs’ former girlfriend, former employee and witnesses involved in the investigation. Prosecutors use this testimony to show that they are allegedly running criminal businesses through his business, including Combs Global.
Testimony states that the rapper had his personal assistant set up a hotel room for a “freak-off” or “hotel night.” The former employee who took the stand also testified that they often procure drugs for rappers. The drugs, including MDMA, cocaine and ecstasy, were used by Combs and his ex-girlfriend during forced sexual sessions involving male escorts, prosecutors alleged.
