If the country tries to rebuild its nuclear program, the US will attack Iran again, President Donald Trump I said on Wednesday.
Trump issued a statement while interacting with reporters while attending NATO Summit Wednesday in the Netherlands. The US has promoted a report from Israel that said strikes at three Iranian nuclear facilities have brought the country’s program back to “long-term.”
Reporters asked Trump if he would attack Iran again, whether he would rebuild the nuclear facility.
“That’s true,” Trump responded with a sluggish response.

The exchange comes after NATO Secretary General Mark Latte praised Trump during Wednesday’s summit as a “man of strength” and a “man of peace.”
“I just want to recognize your decisive actions towards Iran,” Latte said at the beginning of his joint statement with the president. “You are a person of strength, but you are also a person of peace. And the fact that you are now successful in making this ceasefire successful between Israel and Iran. I really want to praise you, and I think this is important to the whole world.”

Latte also praised Trump’s efforts to make NATO members pay more, saying that after the president ends up spending 5% of his GDP on defense, he is jumping into all nations (with the exception of Spain) into another great success. He added that Trump has achieved something “for decades the US president couldn’t do.”
Leaders of NATO member states had mixed reactions to strikes Iran’s nuclear facilitiessome are seeking to de-expand the escalation while acknowledging the threat that nuclear Iran poses towards global security.
