former Ohio Offensive lineman Kirk Burton is charged with a one-count aggravated vehicle murder after police said he was driving drunk and driving on the other side of the road before entering the wreckage of a car that killed a 24-year-old man in Ohio over the weekend.
Dublin police said Burton, 40, is suspected of driving. His pickup Just before 3am on Saturday, it hit a Lexus driven by Ethan Wence Perry in historic Dublin “at highway” and “at highway.”
Perry died at the crash scene, and Burton was taken to hospital with “non-life-threatening” injuries.

Columbus dispatch Burton reported that he was driving on the other side of the road before fixing himself before the crash. The former Buckeyes player admitted to drinking alcohol before driving, and had “blank stares” and glassy eyes when police arrived, according to the report.

Burton appeared in court on Monday and was released on a $500,000 cash guaranteed bond, Fox 8 It has been reported. He was ordered not to leave the area and not drive. He will return to court next month.
Burton played the right tackle for the Buckeyes from 2003 to 2007, and was a national in his final season. He was later drafted by Chicago Bears The seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
