Green and Dion’s Sanders played together Falcon Together from 1989 to 1993. Green said Sanders is far more for him than his former teammates.
“I would like to say that Deion Sanders is not only a former teammate, but a lifelong friend. Coach Prime is an exceptional person and a dedicated father,” Green said.
Green played eight seasons in the NFL, all alongside the Falcons. In 99 games, he recorded 24 bags, one safety, nine recovered fumbles.
