The Edmonton Oilers tied them up in the two-game Stanley Cup final in a surprising overtime victory over the Florida Panthers (5-4) at Sunrise on Thursday. And the Panthers did it in front of a celebrity audience Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse Emphasise the crowd.
Edmonton’s Leon Draysightle rounded out the front and rear thriller with a winning goal in overtime. It was Dry Saitole’s fourth overtime goal in the Stanley Cup playoffs, breaking NHL records in one postseason. Draisaitl also scored the winning goal in overtime Game 1.

The Oilers overcame an early three-goal deficit in the most dramatic game of the series to date.
The Panthers took a 3-0 lead in the first period with two goals by Matthew Tokachuk and two goals by Anton Landell.
However, the Oilers had less than a term to tie it together, with three goals from nurses Ryan Nugent Hopkins, Vasily Podkolzin and Darnell.

The game then freezes, and the team played in a deadlock, entering the third term. That deadlock continued midway through the third term, when Oilers defender Jake Walman defeated his tie in just under seven minutes to eventually enter the restrictions.
And with less than 20 seconds left, the Panthers tied it to Sam Reinhart’s dramatic goal and sent the game into overtime.
Neither team inflated the first 11 minutes of the extra period, but then Draysitl blew the game into the ice and even raised the series at the 8:42 mark.

The series will return to Edmonton in Game 5 on Saturday.
