The biggest night of fashion is here. The first Monday in May presents the biggest star at the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City I met Gala.
The theme for the 2025 Gala was “Superfin: Black Style Tailoring.” Around Met, The theme celebrates black dandyism and “the importance of clothing and style to the formation of black identity in the Atlantic Diaspora.”
According to TrendyBlack Dandism is a movement that is deeply ingrained in fashion revolution, history, resistance and pride. Hosts for this year’s event include Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colmandomingo and $AP Rocky.

Silk & Sound was on the carpet before the event, singing “And No Mountain Hi-Hai” by Marvin Gay and Tammy Terrell.
